Essential Oils for Pregnancy – Are they safe?
Just so you know, I am a firefighter/EMT, not a doctor, but part of my job is knowing how to deliver a baby, and knowing what is safe for pregnancy in women is part of my skill base. During this most amazing time in a woman’s life, these questions frequently arise. What is safe for me and my baby to take? How does what I take effect my baby? What medications can I take and how do they effect the baby? What Essential oils for pregnancy are safe? These questions are very common, and need a quality answer.
Knowing what a pregnant woman can and cannot take were very real concerns to me over the past year. My wife and I just had a beautiful baby boy, and trying to find medications when she was sick, nauseated, or when she had a headache, or even when she was exhausted was seemingly impossible. Especially late at night when a majority of her pregnancy symptoms hit. Then everything at the local pharmacy said either not safe for pregnancy, or check with doctor before use if pregnant. THIS WAS FRUSTRATING! But we found our answer…

Oh my gosh for all you guys out there, keeping your wife comfortable while she is pregnancy so necessary. From everything I have seen, I know that I cannot imagine what our amazing women go through while pregnant. All I can say is that this worked for my wife and it helped her more than I can express here.
For example my wife, Sariah, was exhausted every morning during much of her pregnancy. She would hate getting out of bed, she was grumpy, and was just uncomfortable. Then I started putting DoTerra’s grape fruit Essential oils for pregnancy in her water, typically about 5 drops. She loved it! And there are no side effects from using it.
Another example, Sariah has a strong family heritage of bad stretch marks which seems to be genetic. So that is what she just accepted was going to happen to her, until she learned of the Essential oils use for pregnancy to help reduce stretch marks. She used the DoTerra Essential oils for pregnancy of frankincense, geranium, helichrysum, and lavender religiously, 3-4 times a day, and her stretch marks are minimal.
I could go on and on about her pains, constipation, other digestive issues, swelling, headaches and more. But I want to keep this short and to the point. All I can say is that DoTerra’s Essential Oils for Pregnancy were remarkable to say the least. We all know a happy wife = a happy life, and that is magnified 100x during pregnancy.
By finding our about Essential oils for pregnancy and how to use them, no more were we worried about what she could take and not take. We knew what she was taking was safe for her and our beautiful baby boy. With the Essential oils for Pregnancy our confusion and stress was gone about helping her with the common struggles of pregnancy.
Now don’t get me wrong, you must research your own Essential oils for Pregnancy. The only Essential Oils for Pregnancy that I would allow my wife to use are those that are of Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade, aka CPTG. That is because CPTG are the only essential oils for pregnancy that are guaranteed to have no synthetic fillers in them. Just go to your local health food store and you will see that almost all therapeutic grade essential oils they carry you cannot take internally.
The only company I have found that sells Certified Pure therapeutic essential oils for pregnancy is DoTerra. For more information on Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils click here and read through the DoTerra Review
